The Ford Jr. campaign has announced that he is leading Corker 45% to 39%. Of course, the polling was done by the campaign so what can we expect? I'm surprised Jr's not doing better with his "internal" polling. I guess they don't want it to look too obvious. (story here)
Evidently, there will be a new constitutional amendment on the ballot this November. This measure seeks to allow local governments to freeze increases in property tax rates for citizens 65 and older. Seems like a random thing to change the state contitution for. (story here)
