The fate of most pigs is on top of dinner room tables but not one pig from Middle Tennessee. Last week, this pig had his picture taken for promotional poster for the upcoming movie, Charlotte's Web. The farmer told a reporter that the pig wouldn't have time to know that he had become a celebrity since he was on his way to the butcher's block. Calls from all over the nation came in to save the life of this pig; the publishing company even offered to provide a pig sanctuary. The farmer gave in and decided to save the pig's life. Thank goodness, that was a close one! (more here)
