A new design for the Freedom Tower, replacement of the WTC, has been released today. This new design is suppose to solve security problems while keeping a graceful appearance. The previous base of the tower was criticized for being too "bunker-like." Maybe this one will stick? The funny thing though is that construction has already being ongoing since April, but they just now formed a working plan. The developer of the site said that the new tower should be ready by 2012.
