Looks like Katie Couric might be closer in making a deal to move to CBS Evening News. Couric has been with NBC's Today Show for 15 years, and the morning news show has brought in millions of dollars for the now-struggling network. I'm not quite sure if this would be the best move for CBS or Couric. After being number one in the morning for so many years, a move to the evenings would be a big change. Tom Delay, former House majority leader, has announced that he will be resigning from his post in Congress and will not run for re-election. This comes after much controversy surrounding criminal charges in Texas. (story here)
