Well, the Bredesen camp continues to sink into darker water. No wonder the man does not want "ethics" reform; in no way can his administration be considered "ethical." Today The Tennessean reports that Bredesen did indeed know about the troubles at the Highway Patrol but chose not to do anything about it (story here). Hum...that's sounds like a top-notch governor to me! Yesterday the paper also found that Bredesen's investigation into the department is not completely reporting everything. Some offenses, including drug and assault related crimes, were not included for one of the officers under investigation (story here). I truly wish that the Republicans would do something! They have such a prime opportunity to bring Bredesen down, but it seems like they are not in a big hurry to do anything. I am really getting tired of Bredesen and his lack of leadership; I want a true leader that cares about integrity and trust (but I must be crazy to think that such a politician exists!).filed under: tennessee, politics
