New York was eliminated in the second round of voting by IOC officials. Sadness. Oh well, maybe 2016? Now the race is between London & Paris. Personally, I'm going for London, but Paris has been the frontrunner all along. We'll just have to wait and see.
Well Shawn, when I heard that NY was out of the Olympic race, I immediately thought of you. I'm sorry that NY wasn't chosen...I know how you were really rooting for the games to be held there in 2012. I must say, however, that I'm glad London was able to secure the position as host since we could not. Poor London...my heart goes out to them in light of the recent terrorist attacks. How awful to experience such joy one day and then devistation the next.
ReplyDeleteHey Brittany! Yeah, I was wanting to go to my first Olympics. I can't believe my parents did take me when it was in my backyard of Atlanta! That is is sad about London, though. I'm just glad that it wasn't worse.
