Today was my first day working, or I should say interning, at William's Drugstore in Surgoinsville. I went this morning expecting to just talk to the pharmacist about hours and such and get some training, but I was wrong. I got there, and the guys sends me directly behind the counter where they were busy filling prescriptions. I was introduced to the three other people that worked there (I knew two already). He then told me to watch April (the worker I knew) and learn what she did. Well, I followed her around for one or two prescriptions she had to fill and then it was my time. They actually had me filling some orders! Of all things, the first thing I fill is a prescription for MS Contin, a very addicting and highly abused drug. I couldn't believe it that they actually had me messing with the drugs! Well, the day went all right. I filled orders all day long. I am really hoping that I didn't mess up! I did drop a pill or two throughout the day, but I was told that happens all the time. Hopefully, I can make up my mind this summer if the pharmacy path is the one that I want to take. Should be interesting!

Pharmacy Phun

Hey shawn! That's so great that your interning!!! I need to get a job! I am happy to hear that you are doing well in school and everything! We need to start hanging out! I miss you! Keep up the good work!
