Canadian, Christian Rockers

Tonight was such an awesome event! I got to see my favorite Christian band, Starfield, perform at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center in Pigeon Forge. The music was great, but the best part was the fact that this was an intimate concert. Let me take you to the beginning. I discovered on Starfield's website that they were coming to Pigeon Forge. I thought this was weird because none of the radio stations or anything was advertising the event. I found out that the concert was apart of a youth conference being held this weekend. I was lucky to obtain one of few tickets being made available to the public. I thought that this would be a massive group of youths from all around, but I was wrong. When me and some others got there, no one was to be found at the convention center. I was so surprised. People did start coming in vans and from the hotel that was hosting the youth conference. But there was not the amount of people that you would expect for such a great musical talent. We get there, and we are able to the fourth row back and in the center. It was so awesome! After the opening act finished and Starfield came out, the lead singer instructed us to come up to the front and starting rocking! It was so great because I was able to get near the front of the group and this provided me to get some great pictures of the band. The only bad part about this is that some of the middle schoolers apart of the conference took advantage of being away from home, and I could smell that they hadn't taken a shower since they had been there. I didn't mind it thought because these former Canadians certainly know how to rock the house! Everyone seemed to have such a great time. Not only do they know how to put on a great show, but they have some great thoughts and are able to bring a great sense of worship to the concert. Everyone could certainly feel the presence of the Lord among us! It was such a great time of fellowship and praise of our Lord and Savior. This band is awesome and deserves to win big at the Dove awards coming up in April! Good luck, Starfield! Oh yeah, thank you Canada for giving us such great rockers! If you have never heard of Starfield and you enjoy great Christian music, check out their website by clicking here.
