She told the peron that they did not win. Karrie Jeremiah decided to take a second look. After the person threw their ticket away, Karrie got it out of the trash can. After looking after it carefully, she noticed that the ticket did indeed lose the $40 prize, but it won the $100,000! Doesn't that give us ordinary some hope.
