A Day Full of Conclusions

Today was certainly an exciting yet sad day. I started out bright and early at 9am. Watched a little Golden Girls...such a great way to start the day. I then went into work and did a few little things. I then dashed all over campus doing various administrative things; it was nice to finally get some things done.

I then headed out to the house of the International Student Activities Director; we had a little going-away lunch for all the student workers and staff of the CGE; every student worker is leaving on Friday except one. It was such a beautiful, American-dream house sitting right along the lake. We had a great lunch and some great times; it is so sad to be leaving after working there for four years.

I then came back and went apartment shopping with my roommate. It was fun, but it was weird at the same time. We shouldn't be shopping for places to live; it is way too soon. It at least feels that way.

After spending many hours surveying Morristown, we finally made it back to Jeff City just in time for the luau. Our friends got together for one last big get together; how else better to do that than to have a luau? It is was so much fun. We played the limbo, had a potato sack relay, played pass the coconut, and a little game we like to call Gerhart (sp?). It was such a great way to end the year.

Well, here we go. Friday is the big day. At 6:30 pm, I will be an alumni of Carson-Newman College.
