I apologize for the huge lag between updates. I've been a little busy lately with end-of-semester activities. I finally finished all homework, projects, tests, and finals. I sitting watching TV last night when I realized that I nothing to do in regards to school stuff; I can't even start to express how good that felt! I cannot even remember the last night that I had nothing hanging over my shoulders. I think that I did pretty good with all of my finals. I finally finished my little Into to Theatre experiment; I tried out something a little different for me to get my fine art credit. I knew that I wouldn't have the chance to do anything like that in the future so I thought I would go for it and experience something new. It was a bit awkward for me at times considering I've never been an actor, but it went ok. I finished my last acting scene on Wednesday, and the professor seemed to like it a lot and gave us lots of compliments and said up front that we would get a great grade. That was a wonderful way to end the semester considering that was my last act of the fall semester. My roomies and I had Christmas last Monday in the apartment. One of the gifts I received (and quite possibly ranking high with some of the best presents I've ever received) was an official Red Ryder BB gun, as seen on "A Christmas Story." (pictured above) I was certainly not expecting that one, and I was more than shocked to see it when I tore the wrapping paper off. I will treasure this one for quite a while along with my other great presents. Well, I'm finally home and ready to enjoy some relaxation and some fun-filled Christmas activities!

Ev absolutely loved the part where you fell out of your chair and rolled on the floor apparently. If that happened. He's crazy sometimes, so it maye not have been you... Anyway he talked about it during the Directing Final

ReplyDeleteYeah, that was my part where I fell out of the chair. It is great to hear that he liked it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link, Mike. Very interesting.
:o)
Hey Shawn,
ReplyDelete#1...I have a Red Ryder BB Gun, too. When I saw you playing with yours that day in the apartment, I wanted to say I had one just like it, but being afraid that my statement would later turn out to be false, I kept my mouth closed. It turns out though that it is just like yours. Thought you'd find that interesting.
#2...Yesterday, my grandmother and I went out to eat Chinese food for lunch and the sign on the door said they'd be open for Christmas dinner. Of course, after seeing "A Christmas Story" I immediately began wondering if they would also sing to their customers while they ate the Christmas meal. :) Fa ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra.
Hope you have a FABULOUS Christmas, Shawn. See you when we all return.
That is so cool, Brittany! Seems like I am one of few people that didn't get a BB gun when I was young. Oh well, I guess I can catch up on the excitement now. I definitely want to eat my Christmas meal at a Chinese restaurant sometime; that would be so cool! Well, you have a great Christmas also! Relax! :o)
