Happy Last Day of Classes!

Well, today marks the end of classes for the fall semester at Carson-Newman. I'm finally done with my first semester as an accounting major; well, I'm semi finished. I still have a myriad of finals to take. I certainly have not been encouraged about my intermediate accounting final on Friday. Our stupid professor thinks that we can read all of this stuff, do all the homework, and comprehend in a short two weeks. We haven't even finished. We have to meet tomorrow during Dead Day (a day in which no classes are suppose to meet, reserved just for studying) just to finish our last chapter, which will be on our Friday final exam. Granted that the final only covers the last three chapters, but we covered those chapters in only two weeks. We shouldn't have to suffer for his mistake of getting behind during the semester. He has officially retired, but we made adjustments so he could teach our two classes (the courses last a full year) again next semester. All of us are, of course, regretting that move to get things worked out. Oh well, I guess we'll make it through. Happy last day of classes!

  1. I'm fairly positive that holding class on dead day is a direct violation against some C-N rule. I don't know what that rule would be but GOOD GRIEF!!!!!!!!!! C-N only gives us 1 stinkin day to prepare for finals and then your teacher goes and holds class anyway.

  2. Yeah, I know. He didn't require us to be there, though. I guess that counts for something. Its over with for now at least.
