Harold Ford Jr., likely Democratic nomination for Tennessee's seat in the US Senate, has recently said that he endorses a plan to push back the retirement age in an effort to save Social Security. The oldest someone would have to be to receive full benefits is 70. That sounds like a message that the young vote will embrace! Oh, I will definitely be voting for Ford in November; I want to work for the rest of my life! Sounds like nifty fun! (more here)
