A new campaign called "Draft Hillary" will be launching soon in none other than Nashville, TN. I found the organizer's comments somewhat funny. This is what the Tennessean had to say, "The group, called Hillarynow.com, thinks she can appeal to the country-music and NASCAR-loving crowd associated with Southern towns such as Nashville, said Bob Kunst, the Miami Beach-based organizer." This guy has no idea what he is talking about! First of all, he's from Miami and could not possibly understand the true Southern culture. I really don't see Hillary connecting with the "NASCAR-loving crowd." Aren't you glad that is what the rest of the country completely associates with our culture? This guy obviously has a disconnection with the South; I'm not sure if Hillary would want him on her team. (story here)
Today is the National Day of Prayer. It is also "Ready & Studying Day" at Carson-Newman, also commonly referred as Dead Day. We are suppose to use the day to study for the upcoming exams. Are the professors trying to tell us something? That we should pray for mercy on our exams?
Tennesse has a budget surplus this year. Political fighting commence.
