This cartoon from Cox & Forkum accurately describes the battle ahead for immigration reform. Myself, I'm a bit surprised that Congress wants to handle this issue in an election year; I thought that they would try and avoid any hot-button issues this year. I'm not quite sure where I stand on the issue. I believe that we need reform, but I'm not sure what that should entail. Around 8000-9000 people demonstrated in Nashville last night regarding immigration reform; people are certainly on fire about this one. (story here)
