One Amazing event that took place in 2005 that will definitely not be forgotten soon is the Tennessee Valley Amazing Race. My friends and I are big Amazing Race fans that are accustom to watching the series every Tuesday night. After watching an episode, we came up with the idea of doing our own version of the Race except just in our corner of the world, East Tennessee. The idea was born, and we all ran with it. Five teams of two were formed to compete in the Race: Father/Daughter Adam & Courtney, Pro Wrestlers Beth & Melissa, Chair Restorers Brian & Brittany, Schickimicki Girls Carey & Brittany, and Doubles Partners Jennifer & Brian. On April 30, we all began at the campus gates on the CN campus; we then headed through Jefferson City, Morristown, Dandridge, Sevierville, and ended in Knoxville with many challenges throughout the day. We had so much fun with our friendly competition (excluding the trip to the UT hospital).
