I was certainly very happy to hear that our great state would soon be the new North American headquarters for Nissan; this means more jobs for our hard-working people and a better image among corporate America. I'm not sure, though, if the incentive package awarded to Nissan by the state is worth it; our government will be paying $200 million for the company to relocate to mid-state! This amount, however, is extended over 20 years so maybe its not too bad. This relocation better prove itself in the future! This investment by the state better bring great jobs to Tennessee (more than the thousand so that Nissan will bring). I'm hoping that this relocation by Nissan will encourage other companies to make this state their home; hopefully, this will show other corporations that Tennessee is certainly business friendly. Although, I don't think we want companies believing that we are 200-million-dollar friends! (story here)

Korea - Land of the Morning Calm. That is where I am currently living as an "Englishee teacher." As I go about my life, I'm sure that I will encounter a few interesting things, and I might try to be a little adventurous. Stop by often for some non-stop Korean taekwondo-style action. Whatever you do, please don't have the fan running while reading this -
