Christmas was great this year! I spent Christmas Eve with the Taylor family. We have a tradition were my uncles, aunts, and cousins meet at my house and have a nice Christmas Eve dinner. This year was no exception, except the crowd was greatly reduced. There was only 8 of us; of this five of these people were me, my mom and day, my brother, and his girlfriend. It was still great, though! A funny thing happened as my uncle, aunt-in-law, and other aunt was leaving to go home. There are all kinds of stray cats that hang around my house because my mom feeds them; she does this so they will stay around and catch all the mice (which they do). Anyway, as my uncle was cranking his car, there was this awful screaching sound. I thought something was definitely wrong. All of a sudden this cat darts out from under the van. We open the hood and find that one of the belts had came off and the place the belt used to be there was cat hair everywhere! Poor cat was trying to stay warm near the engine and gets a big surprise on Christmas Eve. We haven't seen a cat yet that has any legs or arms missing. Hopefully it is ok. Christmas turned out great. We had a wonderful breakfast, and then we started opening presents. We had a new addition to the Taylor Family Christmas this year: my brother's girlfriend. It was great us being together again. I got some wonderful presents. I got this game, Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, which I am now addicted to. Such an awesome game! I also got this cool talking George W Bush doll. It has him say all of his best goofs and some great inspirational quotes. Such a wonderful Christmas! I hope you all a great one, too!
