Smoky Mountain Fun

Yesterday, was really fun. One of the cool things about CN is that they have lots of intramural sports. They have things like Family Feud, Connect 4, and an annual Smoky Mountain Hike. Well, we went yesterday, and it sure was lots of fun. At first, I thought I had missed the van because the campus chapel service ran over a little bit. I found out I could have waited like 30 minutes and still made it in time. Well, it took forever to get up there. Tourists driving on this one-way street in the Smokies have to stop and get a picture of every deer they see. We think sometimes people stopped to take pictures of trees. That's tourists for you! Well, we finally got there. It seemed like it took us forever to walk up to Abraham's Falls even tough it was just a 2 1/2 mile hike (5 miles round trip). It was awesome though once we got up there. The falls was beautiful! I got to meet a lot of people so that was cool. There was one guy (not in our group) that climbed the side of the waterful and dived in. This was like a 20 foot waterfall, too. It was awesome! We got to climb up there, but not directly up like that guy did. They feed us a lunch while we were there. It was pretty good (free, too). Pictured above is the group that went with some of the falls in the back. The picture below that is a friend of mine (Brittany), me, and the waterfalls. I have a picture album on the way. Oh yeah, don't forget to send in your prayer requests or praises. Just click the link on the right side bar.
