Family Day & Stalkers

Well, today was Family Day at Carson-Newman. My mom and dad came down for the day. One of my best friends, Amy, also came down. It was so great to see my family and my friend again. It made me realize that home is truly where the heart is. (Yes, I know, I am sounding cheesy, but I don't care) We went to the football game today. Eagle victory 37-24!!!! Last night, my friends and I made a very scary encounter at the nearby dam. Well, first of all, there has been a security alert around campus this last week about this bulky stalker with a Jeep Cherokee. He like grabbed this girl on the shoulder late at night, but she had taken self-defense courses and was able to fight him off. The next day, another girl reported being stalked by the same type of guy with three other late at night. Well, about five of us were at the dam eating Taco Bell. This Jeep like pulls up, and we are just joking and say "oh my gosh, here come the stalkers." Well, these two guys get out of the car, and one of them look just like the image created from the two girl's description! We were like freaking out! They like grab this large pole with like a sign on the end out of the back of the Jeep. They then walk across the dam to the center and throw it over the side. It was really strange. We got in the car and rode to the parking lot that was right at the exit of the dam. We watched them pass by and get their plate number. We then catch up to them and follow them for a while. We think they thought we were following because they like turned off suddenly on this really country road. We like went immediately to Campus Security and report it. It was such an exciting night! I hope that we caught them!
