Well, my friends and I had our "unofficial" church youth swimming party and lock-in, yesterday. We had all kinds of fun! We started the event by swimming in the pool in my backyard. We had quite a time! As you can see from the picture, I even got my hair done while I was swimming. I was also crowned the diving board chicken champion! Oh yeah! After we were run out of the pool by thunder and lightning, we went to Cubby's house (my adopted grandma) and spent the night. We watched Secondhand Lions, played Life, and just had lots of fun and fellowship. I love my friends, and I am so glad that I was able to spend the night with them. We finally went to bed at about 6:30 this morning despite the fact that we had to be at church at 10. During the night (or should I say morning), Amy tossed her arm across the bedside table and knocked off the alarm clock, and guess who got hit in the head with it. Me, of course, since I was sleeping on the floor beside the bed. I am really not that tired (or as tired as I would have expected), but my stomach really feels chuggy like. I hope it starts to feel better. Amy, Karen, Holly, and myself are suppose to go to Dollywood tomorrow for our third and final trip of the summer. (How depressing!)
