Well, today has been an interesting day. Gosh, thinking back, today has also been a very long day. Seems almost like two. I went to church this morning with my roommate at the church located on the campus. These two girls walking in front of us were going to the same place and overheard us talking and decided to join us. We all went to the college student Sunday school class. It was sort of interesting. We got fed breakfast. I had some cinnamon rolls and oj. We then went in the big church, and when I say big I mean BIG. I wasn't too impressed with the service. You can read more about that in the previous post. Well, my roommate and I met up with Jennifer and Rachel (former high school classmates) at dinner. After that, Rachel went back to her room because she don't like going out much. Jennifer, my roommate, and I went to the SAC (student activites center) to take part in Playfair. That was a lot of fun! We did a lot of activities to get to know one another. We did dances with our backs against the other person, the "boss" game, and much more. It was really interesting. I got to meet a lot of people. Everyone seems really nice here. Even the thugs seem friendly. We also went to the candlelight vespers. It was like a informal worship service. I like that about Carson-Newman. It is very Chrisitan oriented, and it is very evident on the campus. I finally was able to get on the internet today. Yesterday, it wasn't working. I ran into a problem, though. The campus network won't let my program that posts pictures on my blog connect to the internet. I'm trying to find a way to get pictures on. Hopefully, I will. It would make me very sad if I can't find a way. Thank you for reading my blog. Note to the people back home, I love you all very much, and I miss you deeply.
Sure glad you had a good day. I love you too and wish you the best for the rest of your college days. See Ya!
