Howdy ya'll from college! I made it through my first college weekend. (Don't worry, there was NO drinking involved) It was sort of fun, though. I was truly surprised. Although, I must admit that it did kind of get boring from time to time. Jennifer (girl from my old high school) and I spent a lot of time doing different stuff. We also did stuff with Preston, Bryan, Brittany, and Brwyan (ppl we have met down here). I went to a Business major meeting picnic on Saturday. We got real food from Chickfila and homemade desert. Oh my gosh, it was so good! Our little group we had watched some movies and did some other stuff. The cafeteria hours here are weird on the weekend. It is never open when you want to go eat. Breakfast is served from 8:30 to 9:30. Only a hour and it is so early. I can imagine college people waking up that early just to eat breakfast on a Saturay morning. Oh well. I tryed out another church on Sunday, Alpha Baptist. I liked the college Sunday school class and the service, but I just wasn't used to what they were. I went with Jennifer, and she agreed it wasn't our type of church. They used different versions, planned their services to the tee, and there was like 500 people in attendance. One person greeted us and asked us if we were members or visitors. I thought it was pretty bad that they couldn't tell the difference. We'll find a church, though. Jennifer and I have made it our mission. I was surprised though by how religious Jennifer was. (I'm glad to) All of our religious ideas seem to match. I am so thankful for that! Oh yeah, I have found a way to add pictures again. Hopefully it will work.
