God's Will or Mine?

Soon, I will be going off to college. Along with this, I will be forced to make many decisions in my life. Not only will I be making day-to-decisions, but I will also be making many decisions that will change the course for the rest of my life. Let me just tell you, this scares me to death! I have already had to ponder many choices. As I try to make up my mind, I make sure to pray to God to find out what he wants me to do and what his will for my life will be. The reason that I do this is because I know that God will not lead me astray. The problem that I have is that I don't know what is God's will. I pray and pray to try to find His will, but I have a very hard time trying to determine what He wants. Many times when I pray about this, I think I get an answer, but I am never for sure. I am always afraid that it is my will instead of his. Isn't it human nature to do what we want to do? One of the decisions that I am currently pondering is either to go into pre-pharmacy and one day go to pharmacy school or not. I feel that this is the path that God wants me to go, but at the same time I am scared that I only feel this way because this job would bring me into a lot of money someday. I believe that I will not really ever figure out what God's will for my life is. Maybe I am wrong, but I believe that you just need to go with what you believe God wants you to do and just do it even if your human body tells you not to. I think that if you follow the right course, you will find out later in life when things are going good. I also believe that if you don't do God's will, you will suffer consequences later down the road. That is what I believe is the only way to know either you followed the right road or you didn't. Maybe I'm right; maybe I'm not. I just hope to live my life and make the decisions the way that God would want me to. Please keep me in your prayers as I do make these decisions.
