Last night's episode of the Amazing Race truly disgusted me! The conflict between dating couple Colin & Christie and cousins Charla & Mirna reached a climax, and it wasn't pretty! The teams had to leave Luxor, Egypt for Tanzania. On the way to the airport in Luxor, the race got tight because everyone was extremely close to each other. When they got to the airport, Colin & Christie were right in front of Charla & Mirna. Christie takes her arms and stretches them out so that Charla & Mirna are blocked while Colin went ahead to get the best airline tickets. She even yelled awful profane words at them. I couldn't believe it. What made me even more angry was that Colin & Christie formed an alliance with all the other teams except the bowling moms to make sure that the cousins were eliminated. I called it the Colin Axis of Evil. I couldn't believe that Christians Brandon & Nicole and the other Christians Chip & Kim went along with it! I was really disappointed in them. Well, the bowling moms and the cousins formed an alliance themselves. They even found a flight to Tanzania that arrived a day earlier than the other teams. There was a problem, though. When they got at another airport to make a plane switch, the flight was delayed. They got there a little behind the other teams. I thought that maybe the moms and cousins would catch up at the roadblock where a team member had to eat a huge ostrich egg scrambled. The reason I thought this was because Colin was such a sissy eating his egg. He kept gagging and barfing while the other teams were just eating along. The moms did get ahead a little, but the cousins were last. Sadly, they were eliminated. It was an emotional end. The host, Phil, asked the small-person Charla if she believed she showed the world that small people are able. In response, she broke down in tears and emotionally told him how small people are so much more able than regular sized people because they have to work harder to prove themselves. She even movingly explained how much she loved her cousin and how much God had blessed her with giving her a cousin like her. The host was even in tears before it was over with. Such a sad ending. Charla & Mirna, if you are reading this, I am so sad to see you go. Best of luck!
