It's getting close. The clock that is counting down the time that I have to leave for college is quickly winding down. This Saturday is the day that I go to move in. Next Wednesday, I start my first college classes. Gosh, I am so nervous. Well, I finally got a hold of my roommate. That was something tough to do! I got my letter about my roommate like a day or two before I left for Texas so I really didn't have much time to call him. He did call me though while we were away and left a message. My mom was able to check our voicemail on her cell phone. He gave me his email address so I sent him a message saying that I didn't have time to call and that I would call him as soon as I got home. Well, I try to call him on the road coming back home, but he was out of town. His dad told me it would be ok to call on Monday. Well, I call back, but no one is at home so I left a message. The next day, I call him 3 times and never get him. My mom wanted to go shopping last night, anyway, so we go and pick up a majority of the items that I will need in my dorm. While we were gone, he had called and left a message on our voicemail. I rush to my cell phone and call the number, and he is the one to answer. Thank goodness! Well, we got everything worked out, and he seems like a pretty nice guy. I sure hope so, anyway! Please pray for me as I start college and that my transition is an easy one. I can only look to God now for guidance.
