Financials

I finally got myself a bank account today at Shinhan. It was a fairly easy process. The head Korean manager took me to help with translations. As in the US, I had to write my name a lot and write my signature many times. There are some funky rules. For some reason or another, I can't use internet banking until after three months. Also, there are fees for using the ATM if I withdraw cash after 6pm, which is bad for me considering I don't get off work until 6 or 9. There are a few cool things, though. They gave me a bank book that I can put into an ATM, and it will update my account balance and show all of my transactions. They also gave me my visa debit card immediately, no waiting at all.
In other financial news, I got my first bill (pictured above...called itself the "wonderFULL letter" I think that's debatable) for the internet and my landline phone. It amounted to about $8 after I was reimbursed for the connection fee. Not only is it cheaper than in the US, but it is also much faster.
