Dooson! Dooson!

Last weekend, we went out to the ballpark in nearby Mok-dong. It was experience to say the least. It was the loudest baseball game I had been to in my life. Everyone has these white blow-up sticks that sounds like a drum beat when hit together. And this guys stands up front with the dancing girls and leads everyone in chants throughout the game; he was almost like a conductor of the people beating the sticks. They just got louder and louder as the night went on. Halfway through the game, some techno-esque music came on and everyone started making these weird movements, almost like in a trance. Apparently, that was the half-time stretch. Our team, the Dooson Bears defeated the Woori Heroes, 9 to 3, so it was a pretty good game. Afterwards we headed out into the town and got some awesome food. It was a form of Samgyeopsal, except it had 5 layers instead of the normal three and was smoked. Oh, it was so good! Probably one of the best meals I've ever had in Korea.

The conductor and his dancing ladies:

Some peanuts made it feel a little like home:

Krispy Kreme ad...oh, I need me some doughnuts!:

The crowd:

Oh, so yummy!:
