Who Will it Be?

Obama and McCain have lots of work to do in regards to deciding on a possible running mate. This decision could make or break either candidate. US News has a report on what is being considered in both the Obama and McCain camps. I feel like Obama needs to go for a more mainstream and more moderate VP; he needs some to balance his liberal views. McCain needs to also go the moderate route. He needs someone with some energy and someone that will attract the much needed independent voters. If he goes for a more conservative running mate in order to attracting the Republican base, he will probably run into problems projecting himself as an independent, not-Bush candidate.
