If you've been worried about my sudden departure from blogging, fear no longer. I am back! During the last week, I was up in Northern Virginia spending the week preparing and celebrating the marriage of a great friend of mine from Carson-Newman. Here is a pictorial round up of the week.
On Tuesday, we headed over to IKEA after dinner.
On Wednesday, we went to the National Zoo in DC.
On Thursday, we met up with the rest of the wedding party and went into DC. We started out with a lunch on the National Mall.
We visited the modern art museum, where we created our own art.
On Friday, we had rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner.
The wedding was on Saturday. We tried to sneak in as bridesmen, but we were put to the task as ushers.
Here is the CN crew with the bride and groom.
The bride has a dangerous addiction to rainbow sprinkles; we thought it would be more appropriate to throw those instead of birdseed.
We then drove down to Richmond to have my traditional Thanksgiving dinner with my aunt and uncle since I will be half way around the world when November rolls around.
Now, I'm starting to realize that my time in the states is running short. Soon, my friends and family will be very far away from me. The thought kills me.
