I stayed up late last night to watch the midnight showing of The Dark Knight; I didn't get into bed until about 4 this morning. I was a bit surprised by the crowd at the mall. The parking lot was full when I arrived about 11:20, and the lobby was filled with people waiting to be seated. It certainly was a mad house last night!I must say that the movie was great. The performances were great, and the action scenes were awesome and intense. I did, however, feel it was a bit overwhelming. My emotions ran all over the place from laughing to intense rage. The movie deals a lot with society and morals throughout the nearly 3-hour movie; so I left feeling a bit cruddy with my mind racing. Overall, I would definitely recommend it. Just be mentally and physically prepared for the emotional roller coaster you are about to encounter.
