According to many around the blogosphere, this Thursday will mark the turning point in the way ads are displayed on TV. Opposition candidates will no longer be able to air ads that contain criticisms or attacks on incumbents seeking re-election in Congress. How disturbing this is! Congress has taken away our right to voice our opinions; wasn't there a right called "freedom of speech" that Americans and others around the world were suppose to be born with?! They have no justification for taking away such a basic right of Americans that seek to oust current leadership. Didn't this used to be called a dictatorship? If Congress can get away with this, imagine what the future holds for this country. They will start taking freedoms after freedoms until we have none. I don't care if you are a conservative, a liberal, or a moderate, this should disturb you greatly. This needs to be sent straight to the Supreme Court to make sure Congress doesn't get too powerful. We must fight this before it gets too late! (more
