Isn't that Convenient

Al Gore has gone all over the country preaching to us about how we should care about the environment and the threat of global warming. I do think that America should be a little more environmentally conscious, but I think ol' Al should look at himself before telling everyone else what to do. Here are a few habits of Gore that is cited by US Today:

>>All of three of his residences are able to take part in green power programs; he, however, takes part in no such program.
>>He has large amounts of stock in Occidental (Oxy) Petroleum, a company known for oil drilling in ecologically sensitive areas.
>>He receives $20,000 yearly in royalties from Pasminco Zinc, which operates a zinc operation on one of his properties. The company has been cited by the state for polluting the nearby Caney Fork River.

Read that and more here

Really sounds like a real carbon-neutral lifestyle that Gore preaches in "An Inconvenient Truth," doesn't it?
