CBS has released their primetime schedule for 06-07 season. As true with the rumors around the Internet, The Amazing Race will be moving to Sundays at 8pm. This comes after many moves this season alone. First it started out at their normal time of Tuesdays at 9, but CBS was stupid and moved it to 10 for some new show about war. I couldn't believe that it was moved in the first place; the show has had that time slot for years and now they decide to move it! Then fans complained and said that the time was way too late and the show's ratings were hurting because of it. CBS then gave in and moved the show to Wednesdays at 8, which wasn't too bad. I'm not sure if next year's time will be all that great, especially on Sundays. With football in the fall, the show's starting time would constantly change, and people really don't want to hang around and wait for a show to start. Also, the show is being moved away from weekdays when primetime receives the best ratings. I hope the Race can survive. CBS might even change their mind again; I believe it was either Season 6 or 7 that it was suppose to air on Saturdays but that was eventually changed back to Tuesdays. I would argue that this is one of the best reality shows on television, and I would sure hate to see it go.
