I can only imagine the scene when Reese Witherspoon showed up at her former place of education, Harpeth Hall School, for a pre-Oscar "pep rally" (story here). Just thinking of all those screaming girls make me blush! She really has made this intellectual community proud by starring in hard-hitting movies like "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Legally Blonde." I think it is cool though that she was chosen to star as June Carter Cash in "Walk the Line" considering she is a Nashville native. I wish her the best this Sunday at the Oscars! I would also be happy if Dolly won best song with her original "Travelin' Thru." I also wouldn't mind if the film "Crash" got best picture (wonderful movie, very in depth).
