I don't about you, but I'm a tad worried about a recent deal for a company owned by the United Arab Emirates to take over control of the port of Miami. I'm not worried just because this is an "Arab" state; I could care less about that. I'm worried because this country has found to have numerous ties to terrorism despite being an "ally" against the War on Terror. Many of the hijackers of September 11th traveled through the United Arab Emirates to get to America; what will prevent the terrorists from jumping on a cargo ship instead of a plane? Nothing would prevent them from using to their advantage this infrastructure that is already extremely vulnerable. (more here)
