Well, the dreaded times have come upon us: FINALS! This is certainly the worst time of the year that I would do almost anything to avoid! As you probably have noticed, I have not been blogging like I usually do. I really hate having to spend every waking moment studying. I really don't understand the usefulness of finals. If students do not know what they are doing, this should be evident in their current, pre-final grade. Students do not need another huge test to make their grade even worse! I do appreciate those teachers that feel my pain and only make their finals over a chapter or two (sadly, I've only got one of those). I could certainly use your prayer during this time! I get really nervous during these times and quite cranky; I just hope that I am able to get some rest and survive these times!

I'm with you Shawn. Finals are pointless!! Why can't we just have one more regular test that counts the same percentage as all the others? Not one test that covers everything we've learned over the semester that counts for 20% or more of our total grade. I HATE IT!!! (Can we go on strike like the sprint workers to protest?)

That would be nice. The funny thing, though, is that we pay them to give us those tests! Hows that for irony. :o)
