Well, I have finally returned from my Fall Break and from the CN hurricane relief mission to Biloxi, Mississippi. I can't even start to describe how much of an amazing experience that I had! The group that I went with was great, and I believe I came back better than I was. I'll have more to say about the trip later along with some pictures that I took. Thank you all for the prayers of support because they were surely heard! Nearly 10% of the entire Carson-Newman community (students & staff) went on this mission trip so you can only imagine the blessings!

ReplyDeleteWow fall break was sooo amazing! I am so happy I got to go through this incredible experiance with you. Good times in the van thats for sure :-) I really believe we made a huge difference down there, even though there is so much more- i think we made an impact on those families that we did help. And once again- I'm sorry about the SARS :-) Have a great day! OK...HEEE
Love ya!

Hi
ReplyDeleteI'm stationed with the USAF in Wichita Falls TX. I'm originally from the Gulfport area with family stretched up and down the coast. I wanted to say thank you for taking time to go down and help. The military wouldnt release me to go help, so please pass along my thanks to everyone you know who went down to help.
Peace
Paul,
ReplyDeleteYou are more than welcome! It was our honor to serve the great people of Biloxi and Gulfport! :o)
