VBS05: "Riding the Right Road"

It is that time of the year again. Yes, it's time for good ol' fashioned Vacation Bible School! Actually this is the first time in the last two years that my church, Liberty, has had VBS. This year's theme is going to be "Riding the Right Road," and I couldn't be more than excited! Last night, we started decorating for the week-long event (which this is a first in the 20-something history of Liberty...we have never decorated for VBS). I must say it looked pretty good! We had a board painted to look like a road riding off into the horizon; we then extended the road through the middle of the church by placing black plastic on the floor and taping off a divider line. It looked so awesome! We had roadsigns on the walls, race flags hanging around, and to be completed with construction cones tonight. I'll be sure to post pictures when I get them with my camera. My traditional job is the Milk Bottle Man running the Milk Bottle Toss Game; I'm changing this year to run the "activities" portion of the night. I have plenty of fun & games ready for the VBSers that are ready to have a good time! Oh well, it should be fun! Stay tuned!
