Farewell Carson-Newman (for now)

It is so hard to believe but the end of my year in college has came to an end. Seems like yesterday that I just moved into my dorm and met my new roommate. Last Wednesday, I shook hands in farewell to my roommate, packed all my belonging into bags and boxes, and sadly emptied the room that had been the epicenter of late nighters, Taco Bell 1am meals, and reality television. Wow, such good times have to come to an end. When I started this year, I was scared to death. I was so afraid that I would never find anyone to hang out with and that I would be stuck in my room doing homework to pass the time. God has different plans for me; He knew that this would not happen. He had a special group of friends ready for me - I just didn't know it. I can't believe all the good times: founding the Isle of Heron, Amazing Race finales, Krispy Kreme visits, our own Amazing Race, and many great visits to the dam. Now that all has came to a temporary stop for summer. I will certainly miss the many great friends that I have made, which I didn't expect hearing myself say. I thought that I would be ready to leave by the end of the year, but I have found myself in a much different story. I can only give God the glory for the many great times that He has given me and the strength to accomplish much this year. Thank you Carson-Newman family for your kind words, smiling face, and good times. I greatly appreciate everyone's friendship; I can't thank you enough!
