Fans of the Amazing Race are always dying to be on the show, but this is a slim possibility for most fans since there are thousands that want to go on but there are only 22 spots. My friends and I were also upset at the required minimum age of 21 to be allowed on (except in season 8 which is families). We thought that we would overcome this slight obstacle and form our own Amazing Race to take place in the central eastern portion of the great state of Tennessee! Our race will be much like it is on the TV show with roadblocks, detours, and an ultimate winning team. Racers will go to various destinations in the area and take part in many challenges. There is 8 people involved with 4 teams racing. Racing will commence on April 30th! Should be lots of fun! On the day of the race, I will try to call into the blog (through Audio Blogger) and update everyone on the racers positions and destinations. Later, I will post teams and their pictures. Be sure to stay tuned; it should get interesting!
