After searching through hundreds and hundreds of pictures taken with my digital camera over this very interesting and major year in my life and agonizing over which of many great pictures deserved the top spots, I have finally come down to the grand daddy of them all. Drom roll please. The number one picture of 2004 is...
Picture Taken: June 2
Family and religion is of course major components of individuals that set the stage for life, but there is something else that molds and shapes the individual. This is friends. Without friends, life can sometimes seem empty and useless. I know; I have felt that way many times before. Friends are people that you can lean on in times of great despair, friends are people that make you laugh at exactly the right times, friends are people that keep you entertained even without having to talk, friends also are people that love you no matter what happens. I don't know what I would do without my friends. They have certainly been there when I needed them; I just hope that I have been there for them. I owe my survival to them! As you can see from these ten pictures, my friends have held a very special place in my life this last year, and the friends pictured above are of no exception. The picture that I rank as the top picture of 2004 is of my friends, (from left to right) Karen, Holly, Amy, and Jonathan, while we were waiting in line during one of our summer trips to Dollywood. These people definitely hold a very special place in my heart. They have always been there for me, and I love them deeply. These are the people responsible for making my summer one of the best and also making 2004 one of my best years ever.
