A Dollywood Christmas

The group of summer reunited once again one last time for the year and made another journey to Dollywood. This time, though, it was special; the entire park was decorated in beautiful Christmas decorations. You should have seen it! I decorated my car just for the occasion (and Christmas). It was great! I have lights strung all around the top of my car. Talk about something "special"! My friends seemed to enjoy it (sort of). We rode one of my favorite wooden coasters, the Thunderhead, five times in a row. It was extreme! So much fun! It was very cold riding, but it was worth it!

We rode about everything. We even got Holly to ride her first looping roller coaster (the Tennessee Tornado). I thought she would enjoy, but I was wrong. She screamed the whole time! (she was screaming at me for getting her on this thing) It was cool, though. It was dark by the time we rode it so that made it extra fun! You should have seen Holly's face on the camera that took her picture as we went down the hill! She looked like she was about to cry. It was so funny! We basically had the park by ourselves. It was cold and there was a forecast for rain so not people tried out Dollywood: Christmas style. They had a nice light parade that went through the park. That was so beautiful. We all definitely had to pay a visit to the county fair area of the theme park. Next year, it will all be redone, and I doubt it will be the same as I have come to know it over these many years.

We rode all of our favority county rides, including the kiddie ride-Convoy. So much fun! We ended the evening by watching the Carol of the Trees show that was nothing but awesome! You have to see Dollywood at Christmas; it is a must! Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention the picture we had taken with a reindeer. I felt bad for the reindeer, but the picture turned out great.
