This weekend was Homecoming here at Carson-Newman. I was going to stay for the game and parade, but I was invited by my former to Key Club to go to Dollywood for their annual district fall rally. Did I have a choice? Well, it was a lot of fun! It was great seeing all my old friends again. It brought back good ol' memories. I got to ride the Thunderhead also. I love that ride! I am so glad that Dolly decided to build it. It was a little cold outside that day, but I got to show off my CN rugby socks, which are awesome! That night, a bunch of us met up again at the corn field maze back home. That was so cool! It was spooky night, and the maze was filled with a bunch of spooks. It was cool too trying to find our way through in pitch black darkness. It was so funny. Someone would see something and then start running. They would run over you and you would fall in the mud and into the corn stalks. They even had fireworks going up at the exit at times. So, you know how I love fireworks! All of us were covered in mud by the time we got out of there. After that, Amy, Holly, Casey, and myself went to my house and had another "unofficial" youth lock-in. It was great being with my good friends again. A great weekend (especially since Huff was ousted)! (Pictures are coming soon; having a few problems with my photo provider)
