Night of Love

Last night was a GREAT night! About 9 of us packed up in our cars and headed to the Knoxville Christian Center. They were having a huge concert there called "In The Name of Love Tour" starring Todd Agnew, Barlow Girl, Building 429, and Starfield. Talk about exciting! It was so awesome to hear all of these Christian artists in one concert! It was unbelievable! My only problem was that I forgot my camera. Can you believe that?! The music and the atmospehere was awesome. I really felt like God was in our presence. The message of the artists seem genuine. They really had a great message about God. At one point, I did get a little depressed and angered. I started thinking about the church situation back home, and it just got me raging. I cooled down, though. After the concert, we all decided to go to Krispy Kreme. I had some people following me in another car. The five of us in my car decided to take them for a little ride. We went totally out of the way from KK. We went through a high school parking lot (which actually turned into a track which we circled), through downtown, and through a neighborhood that one of the people in my car used to live in. It was so funny! You should have saw their faces. They were so confused!! We got there and got a bunch of doughnuts and ate them in the parking lot since the store was closed (except the drive through). We then had to of course go to McDonalds and get something to drink (which charges 27 cents for a cup of water). After that, we all drove back to campus and let out the people that wanted to go to bed. The rest of us went to the nearby dam to star gaze. It took us like an hour to get to a 10 minute drive away, but it was worth it. It was beautiful out last night! (except it was extremely cold for September!) That was my night, and it sure was great! Lots of fun!
