Back Home

It's Labor Day weekend, and I decided to go back home for the weekend. My friend Jennifer (that I graduated with that's at CN) drove me home. We decided to take turns driving each other home because we want to save gas. We went to see a football game at my former high school. This was a BIG game, too. They were playing our arch rival. My blood boils even to think of them! Well, we were creamed! The final score was rival 30, us 6. It was so sad! I left a few minutes early so that I didn't have to look at their celebration, which would have more than likely made me barf. Usually this game is filled with so much spirit. For the past four years, everyone of these rival games have people screaming and yelling. The players are pumped, the students are standing and chanting, and the rest of the spectators are screaming. This year, it really just seemed like it was just any other game. It was really sad to see that. I did my laundry yesterday (Sat). I decided to hold off for a week until this weekend to it, and my laundry bag was packed! Today should be an interesting day. At church, it will be decided by the voting members whether or not our pastor should stay in our church. I firmly believe that it's God will that he leave the pulpit. Last time I couldn't vote when we were deciding who to take as our new pastor after our old one resigned because I wasn't a official member. I was upset at myself for not making myself a member last time. This time, though, I'm ready! Our pastor has really done nothing at all to help our church. He only visits the sick when he likes them personally, he hardly talks to anyone in the church, and wants complete control and totally disregards the church's other leaders. We have lost so many people under his reign. He has had so many opportunities to display his leadership skills in the last year, but he has failed each opportunity. Read Jeremiah 23:1-4, and you will totally get a grasp of our situation. His day of reckoning is today! Viva revolución!
