Guess what everyone, I did my first batch of laundry yesterday. I believe this is an exciting moment of my life, sort of. I have started to do my own laundry in an effort to learn before I go off to college. My mom has been sort of teaching me the last few months on how to do it. The only difference between the laundry she does and the laundry I will be doing is that her's is a lot bigger than mine, and she can make more piles than I can. I basically had to make three piles: jeans, whites, dark colors, and light colors (oh, that's four, isn't it). Well, I've got good news to report. I do not have any pink clothes! I know; I am rejoicing. I guess I got mom to thank. Well, anyway, today will hopefully be a good day. We are having an "unofficial" youth church swimming party and lock-in. Today, some of us from my church youth group are gonna come over my house and go swimming and then spend the night at Cubby's house (my adopted grandma). My friends and I have been having these "unofficial" youth activities all summer long. The reason for that is because our church don't want to seem to do anything for us, no activities or anything. So, some of us decided to do our own thing and have fun and fellowship with or without their permission. We have been having a lot of fun this summer; so, I really don't care if was "official" or not. Talk to you all later.
